
Sometimes the best medicine is an easy weekend morning. After staying up late (for me) watching college football, it felt great to not wake up to an alarm clock this morning. My day started with what was supposed to be a smoothie but ended up being a smoothie bowl because I didn’t feel like remixing it and it was super thick. It was:
1 banana
10 small strawberries
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup Lactaid 2% protein milk
Juice from 1 orange
1 scoop of Alani Super Greens in Wild Berry flavor
It was SO good! Next I had 16 oz of water with Alani Pre-Workout in Island Crush. I don’t drink coffee anymore and this has replaced that for me. It is part of my routine for getting ready to work out now. You can find the frother I use for mixing here: https://a.co/d/cgckLdT
Today’s workout was 10 minutes of yoga focused on hips and obliques. I can’t start my day without yoga anymore. Next was a quick core workout with plank variations.
I ended my workout with a run because I cannot get enough of these amazing temperatures this weekend. I can tell fall is just around the corner!
